Issues of Importance to Residents of Taunton & Easton

Working Together for Safer, Stronger Communities

Community Safety

Public Safety & Community Well-Being is a Key Priority Supporting Our First Responders: A safe community begins with supporting the men and women who serve and protect us every day. We must continue investing in our police, fire, and emergency personnel by prioritizing: Mental health and wellness support for first responders Modernizing aging police and fire facilities Providing updated equipment and advancing public safety technology Ensuring departments have the resources needed to effectively serve our communities Addressing Community Challenges: Strong communities require thoughtful, compassionate, and practical solutions to the challenges affecting our neighborhoods. We must work collaboratively to address: Homelessness and housing instability Crime prevention and neighborhood safety Access to drug addiction treatment and recovery services Early youth intervention and mentorship programs Community-based partnerships that improve quality of life for residents By combining public safety, prevention, treatment, and community engagement, we can build safer and stronger communities for everyone.
