Honor Local Veterans by Flagging Graves for Memorial Day

As we approach Memorial Day, we ask for your consideration in assisting Veterans Graves Officer, Pete Thomson, in placing flagging on Veterans’ graves.
The flagging schedule for volunteers is as follows:
Mayflower Hill Cemetery
Saturday, May 16, 2026, starting at 9:00am
Rain date: Sunday, May 17, 2026, 9:00am
Meet at the small building by the flagpole off the Broadway entrance
St. Joseph Cemetery
Monday, May 18, 2026, starting at 11:00am
Tuesday, May 19, 2026, starting at 9:00am
Rain date: Wednesday, May 20, 2026, 9:00am
Meet at the green building in the center of the cemetery
Maps, printouts, and prods will be provided to volunteers.
